i had a bad oil leak on my GST and it was worse then i thought and it didnt run on no oil but low and it started slow and now its more loud and i looked at the lifters and rockers and didnt see anything...

Happened to my Cougar...does the knocking and/or ticking speed up with the increase of the RPM's? Could be a rod bearingOMG

Ah i got the same problem with my car - ticking/knocking speeds up with rpm has to be a rod bearing. Looks like you have the same problem

Drop the pan and look for shavings in the oil. Any time you starve the bearings of oil it points to rod knock.

Sorry,

Andy

def listen to andy and check for shavings, cause the more you drive it like that, the worse it'll get, good luck with everything
