350HP on stock pistons?

Hey all.
Will my stock pistons hold 350HP?
i took my block to the engine shop, and the guy is pushining me to buy a set of forged pistons off him, said that my stock won't hold.
I am not so sure about that?

yay or nay to forged?

Yes your stock pistons will hold 350hp.

depends on what your goal is. there has been dsmers out there that has done 400+ hp on stock

nevermind. was in rush to post the question...
search answered plenty...
my goal is 350, and the car is weekend street rider (mostly).
I just think that that $600+ or whatever forged are can be spent on something else now...

If 350hp is all the higher you want to go then stay with stock pistons. If in the future you want to go higher then a set of forged pistons is a good idea. If you are going the forged piston route, then I would suggest you also put in a decent set of after market rods. Do it right the first and last time you have your motor open.

i don't see the point of going over then 350.
I am not all screwed up on 1/4 mile and gazillioin HP under the hood.
Even tho I was told that i can go higher then 350 with my planned setup, i don't think so...
And if i change my mind in a couple of years... no problem opening the engine again.

the kit on the ebay is 25$. but shipping to canada is another 20.
it still doesn't seem much in the long run, but ineed to compare to something... paying 50U$ for someting you guys can get for 15...

I have stock bottom end with 350 WHP and its just fine.
