How about a logger and some time of fuel managment. How is the 14b doing these days? Also porting will be your friend.

I agree, if you can, port the turbo, o2 housing and manifold. A MAFT is enough to control 550cc injectors.

Sorry i forgot to mention that I already have a 190 fuel pump, and the 2g ex man is ported and i will also have the o2 housing ported as well

I would NOT try and tune with the MAF-T. A buddy of mine tried to do that on his 16g car and it was the biggest PITA ever.. never did get a halfway decent tune. He ended up buying an afc and zeroing out the maf-t. Still couldn't get the car tuned all that well.

Does he have the instructions for tuning with the MAFT? Its purpose is to compensate for the bigger injectors. They have flow rates and all the desired settings on the maft websites.

well a change of plans occured i decide to do all the suspension items first, I came from musclecars and everyone knows if you cannot get the power to the ground its pointless, but then again i never had awd in a muscle car. Anyway, I ordered full poly bushing kit from prothane, rear sway bar, half shafts Also ordered from mach v the symborski shifter kit and tig welded bushing for the trans cable selector. I am going to do all this this weekend then start with the motor. If i missed anything please let me know.

your power to the ground is good for now unless your trying to launch at redline, get a logger first thats my vote; and since your a 90 good chance you have a Eprom ecu, therefore Id get link or a chipped ecu from keydiver chips.

Suspension work is always good to do first but more for safty than performance in an AWD DSM, since you have a 90's you can be sure that most of your suspension components are probably shot unless work was already done prior to your ownership. One of the most popular suspension upgrade is the 93'+ (AWD) front dual piston caliper and that is where I would start.

I agree that you should go with a SAFC and a 2g maf. The reason the maf-t is so hard to tune is because the gm maf does not have the intake temp sensor and in a temp chaning climate can make it real hard to keep a good tune. you can find yourself retuning everyday. Unless you just want a loud BOV stay with the blowthrough.
