Sorry, I haven't searched this subject yet but I'm about to be on my way to work and don't have time. My clutch is starting to slip pretty badly and I'm going to be replacing it in a few days. I'm looking into an Exeddy Stage II Cerametallic clutch since I had one in my old GSR and loved it. I heard from someone that high performance clutches can lead to crankwalk in 2g's because of the extra pressure on the bearing. I'd like to hear some input from people who have actually used or know people who have used performance clutches on their 2g's.

Haven't done the clutch mod yet but I'm positive it's time for a new clutch. My question about high performance clutches causing premature crankwalk.
Yes, it can lead to premature crankwalk due to excessive wear.

A few things you can do to prevent it:
1) Disable the clutch switch. If you are worried about people starting the car with it in gear, wire a switch to it.
2) Take your foot off the clutch pedal and put it in neutral when you wait at a stop light.
