hey guys,
In my last post i thought i was hearing a weird sound from the pulleys but with further investigation ive come to realize that the sound is coming from the intake manifold and/or the fuel rail. It sounds like when a fork gets stuck in the trash compactor in your sink. Ii think it could proably be a bent valve or something... how serious a problem is it and how difficult will it be.

also this came on suddenly. there was no sounds a few hours before when i was driving it.

Yep. Make sure nothings loose around there, but nothign should be rattling that much unless it's internal.
You might want to take off your intake mani, and try to see in your head, and check out your valves. Or take off your valve cover and check out your topend of the head..

Its a large metal cover peice on the underside of your valve cover. If you look at the underside of your valve cover, you'll see it, probably just never noticed it before.

since im already in there im going to get some high performance valves and lifters. im also getting a good deal on some 1g hks 272 cams.if i were to put these cams in on my basically stock car will it run good or will i need a tune?...
do i have everything i need to fix this valve problem?
