Whats up guys? As many of you have probably seen my previous threads, i have a new problem for the most part. My old 14b was starting to go, so my friend had a bunch of turbo parts for me for 600, so i took em. i installed a t3/t4, performance tubular exhaust manifold, external wastegate, fmic, and blow off valve. i had my o2 sensor housing off until i got it welded, but i first noticed that the car was running pretty horribly, and i thought it was the o2 housing. First the car was over boosting, and it wasnt set right. i took off the mbc and now its boosting to 16. also, it kept jerking, and the bov wasnt going off, the spring was too tight, so i put on a stock 1g bov... works freaking great. now, i still notice that i have some idle surge, and if i rev it up a little bit, when it comes back down, it goes a little higher than normal idle, then really low and it bogs and wants to die, and sometimes it does, then it goes back up. i also notice that when i am driving, and i come from a 3k+ rpm, and i push in the clutch, it goes way down and wants to die, but then goes back up, and is really annoying, and i have no idea what it is. other than that, the car freaking flies, and someone told me that my head gasket could be blown, but i dont see any signs of it, my oil smells like gas a little bit, but thats the only thing i really notice, and i cant say that i see white smoke, and i dont know if it would have anything to do with this case. The wastegate is supposedly set to 14 pounds, but my car is boosting to 16, idk if that has anything to do with it either. Please give me all ideas and possibly a list of things to check and causes of this problem. I also have 2 t's hooked up for vacuum lines, and at idle when it surges, it goes from -15 to -10 and back again. Please help me guys, i know you cant fail me!

I'm not expert, but w/o cams I think your vac at idle should be around 22. Do you have bigger injectors, safc or dsmlink? Stupid question, but is your MAF plugged in? Do you have a CEL light? Have your spark plugs been changed recently?

im not running bigger injectors, im just running 16 psi, i heard it doesnt start to get important until past 19 pounds. i dont have any check engine lights, and i know my maf is plugged in, but maybe somehow its not in all the way or something, and i changed my plugs to platinum +4 like 1 month ago, but i never changed the wires.

You need to ditch those platinum plugs, for starters. Platinum plugs do not go well with DSM's, platinum plugs are more for euro cars, either get the NGK copper core replacements, or if you must, get the NGK Irridiums. Best bet is the copper NGk's. I used to run the irridiums, but I always ended up running too rich. (unburnt fuel coming from my muffler) after I switched to the regular NGK's I noticed a nice gain to the engine power and response.
