Altight so heres the deal, I have been looking at the non ball bearing 50 tirm that SBR sell and was wondering a few things.Hers the turbo.
http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=2190&
1) Can I run 8 psi on a 50 trim with the stock fuel system and a frount mount with a tial 38 mm wastegate.
2) How fast would the non ball bearing turbo spool.
3) how fast compared to the T-25 would it be at 8psi until i could get the supporting mods.

Edit: Im still on the 7bolt but its rebuilt with 17,000 miles.

So here we go:
1) you can run a this turbo at low boost with stock fuel. My friend does it with a 60 trim on his 97 eclipse. Just make sure your wastegate spring is set for, at the most, 8 lbs.
2) the turbo you linked too has a .68 ar housing so the spool up is going to be pretty good. Somewhere under the 4k mark. I have a 50 trim with a .48 ar housing on a 2.3 motor and i get full spool under 3.5k. (20 pounds of boost)
3) you will probably hit 8psi at around 3.5k or under because you are running so low amount of boost.

Good luck with your project.
