Ok so my car through a battery light today and a coolant light, its not overheating or anything like that at all. I just got this battery two weeks ago, I left my lights on for 10 minutes NOT EVEN then I shut them off. Then I go and I picked my cusin up from the train station and headed over to blockbuster to rent movies, after that I started up my car and headed home and it studdered and stalled out completely, so I call my dad and he jumped my car and it started up but it studders and putt putts all the time, Im accelerating and it only drives when I take my foot off the pedal. Im gunning it and its going not even 3 mph if that. This is pissing me off so much, Can you guys please help me out?

I had this problem when my alternator was acting up. Does your radio clip when you turn up the volume?Low voltage makes the car run badly.Have your alternator checked at one of the chain stores for free. Mine had a bad or shorted diode & all the dash lights lit up...Dave.

its a definate possibility, id drop by an autozone or similar place like millarman said and they will check your alternator for free.
But DON'T let them talk you into getting one from them if you do need one, theres have a tendancy to boil the fluid in the batteries, and its no fun trying to clean battery acid off the engine bay, and tranny MM, and tranny. Go with a good quality rebuilt one from JNZ Tuning, or likewise company, I believe you get a Tuners member discount with JNZ.

I agree with the alternator check at autozone. I would also check and make shure your battery is securely tightened down, i had a problem with my RS where the battery would come loose and start to short out the car because the positive cable was hitting the strut tower, causeing a short. Also make sure all your wires are in good shape going to the battery, no chaffing and make sure they are clean.
