Im pretty sure thats the real thing. I bought my palm, softwar and cable seprately and it was barely cheaper.

that dealer sells real great ones, I bought mine a few months ago from him and I still love it

i got one on ebay for $15 and its been the best datalogger! Not that i can compare it, but i does everything i want it to! It came with software and the cable with instructions. Too bad they dont sell those anymore.

Unfortunately the 2G guys don't have all the freeware / pirateware dataloggers that us ODBI DSMs have enjoyed for years.
I actually have an original TMO Datalogger cable/software, a EBay Cable and now DSMLink for my 1G

Yes, but to use MMCd you'll need some sort of a PalmOS emulator.
PalmOS on your Laptop --No more needing batteries

Honestly, if I had it to do over I would spend the extra money and go with the pocketlogger setup. It's not that this setup is bad mind you, but the OBDGauge software that comes on it I found to be all but worthless. I ended up downloading Palm'n'Stein to it and it actually became a useful tool. OBDGauge doesn't even want to start 9/10ths of the time. Palm'n'Stein is plagued with similar problems but at least I can get a good log about 1 in 3 tries lol.
