Why a 20G? Your vehicle profile doesn't list any supporting mods. Is it up to date? If you don't have the ability to run higher boost yet, you'd only be paying to have slower spool.

no its up to date, bone stock but i have about $2500 comin my way from lots and lots of copper. and have a mod list already made to fit along with the turbo just gotta get the money/parts. and i want the 20g because i hear form people its a good turbo for a fwd, and i dont really see it on many cars...just wanna be a little different

How do you figure a 20G isnt popular. It seems to be popular to me. I know quite a few people who run that turbo. Some not even DSMers. Anyways, Talk to a guy named THE_EE on here. He is running a 20G on a stock 7 bolt 97 eclipse. With a bad tune due to fuel problems hes putting down over 300 horsies. Not to shabby if you ask me. We actually installed cams on his car over last weekend and he was gonna retune it so Im sure his numbers look a bit better now. To me the turbo is a good street turbo. When riding in his car it doesnt feel too laggy and it sounds nice. Its definetly a good turbo but make sure that its enough for what you want. I believe its only a 44lb turbo which wont net you too much power even maxed out. If your gonna do it, do it right the first time.

He's running the TDO6 version of the 20G. I wouldnt even bother with the 5, it's not worth it IMO. A 16G would suffice.

It seems to me that, infact that is true that higher boost is the only reason for getting a 20g. 16g Turbos seem more efficient and just enough to have real fun with. Unless your going for as much power as you can push.

im not really trying to get a max hp out of my car yet, and im still trying to keep the car as somewhat of a DD. also in the future im going to either go 2.3L or 2.1L decompressed, but ill probally wait for a 6bolt for that kind of work . secondly i know a few people with the evoIII 16 and say its a good turbo and all but they also say that it spools to fast for a fwd and its not too good in the top end but i have considered a 16g for the money part. the 20g from sbr sounds like a good allaround street snail to me and its a decent runner for upto like what 400ish? which i dont plan on getting to any time soon. also been checkin out the fp green/red....dont rember which one but there a good running with a ported 20g i hear

I have the 16g and I would reccomend the 20g or 50 trim. They both can push more HP on pump gas than the evo. The td05 housing is so small that it heats the compressed air to much. Making hotter intake temps that cause detonation. The 20g is more pump gas friendly.
