kaladar,
I am in need of a head gasket. I have looked at ITM gaskets. Are they any good. Iam planning on building my car to achieve around 350 maybe 400 whp. I would like to find a complete gasket kit . Any thoughts would really help me out. Thanks Dan:

i would go with a cometic headgasket. almost as good as hks at a fraction of the price! try slowboyracing.com or ffwdconnection.com

Thanks for the help, Iam going to give slowboyracing a try. They really do have great prices.

you can get a complete gasket kit w/ timing belt for $120 off ebay, thats what i did, plus i ordered the cometic gasket and studs from sbr, in the process of building it now.

I am looking for a good timing belt kit and all other belts for my car. I am also in need of a water pump. I have been looking at topline water pumps and would like to know if anyone has any input on there products. I noticed thier water pumps sell for about half price of a oem. Money isn't an issue here but I was wondering why they are so cheap. I know cheaper isn't always better. I'am just beginning to repair a blown head gasket and already purchased Topline full gasket kit, ARP headstuds. I haven't started my tare down just yet. I hoping I don't need to machine my head. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks Dan

In therory....it'd be a good idea to have the head just decked. Wouldn't really cost too much and the turn around time on that isn't terribly long.

Topline products are pretty much on the same level as OEM (when it comes to water pumps, misc gaskets (not HG), and other replacement parts) So I wouldn't worry about them.

Evertone has pretty much given the standard advise of what you wanna do already so the only thing I can somewhat add is to throw in a balance shaft eliminator. Of course it all depends on serious you plan on getting with the overall build.

Thanks for the help. I don't know too much about DSM's because I have been a Honda fan just converted to DSM. These cars are twice the machine as Honda's, plus they look real cool and fast.
