Is 21-22 lb of vacuum healthy?
I'm reading off of an aftermarket boost gauge.

What would too much vacuum indicate and does a good vacuum mean good cyclinder compression?

My car reads 20 vac at idle. She drives fine and healthy. I've seen between 17-20 as regular vaccums at idle.

From what I've read 18-20 at idle is good depending on what your idle is set at. I used to have 20vaccum at idle but my idle was at 1600 because of a bad ISC. Now its back down to 800-900 and with FP2's I get 18-19 vaccum at idle.

Yes, 18-20inHg is perfectly normal. It will also deviate according to the weather.
