wheres the fusible link for the altenator?

i don't know where my fusible link is between the battery and altenator,unless it is the big fuse in the fuse box on the passenger side firewall.

On the big fuse box under the hood in front of the battery. If your standing on the passenger side of the car looking at it it'll be the one on the top right sitting at an angle. It's labeled ALT on top of the cover.

If your going to remove it make sure yo DISCONNECT THE WIRES ATTACHED! They are held on with a nut and bolt underneath the fuse.

thanks , yea i took the altenator to advance auto and they said it's not putting anything out at all.
