Alrighty guys here we go again. I just fixed my car with the intercooler piping, I thought I blew my turbo but I couldn't get a good look at the piping when I was on the side of the road and I jacked it up and found the piping that blew off. So moving on, now i'm pushing way to much boost and keep blowing my piping off. I switched back to the regular old boost controller from the 2stage and its still going over 13psi like up to 20 or more probably I haven't pushed it because I no what will happen again. Its the twist nob boost controller so I'm not to sure which way is up or down. But ive tried it booth ways and it doesn't look like its changing. Any help will be greatful.

Thanks

On a twist knob MBC, going counterclockwise will reduce boost. As far as your issues with overboost, either the MBC vacuum lines aren't correctly routed or you're not backing it out far enough to make an appreciable difference. If you could tell us what kind of MBC you have, it would give us a better idea of whether your lines are crossed and the MBC isn't getting a proper boost source that would tell it to open.

With respect to your intercooler piping, are your ends beaded and if so are you using t-bolt clamps?

Snap a pic and get us some more info,

Andy

How do you have your MBC hooked up? If its tapped into the BOV line you will get boost spike bad, if its like that tap the line into the J pipe or the LICP and see if that will eliminate the boost spike if that was the problem.

That's why I requested pics. They'll tell the story pretty quickly.
