Alright I think I blew my turbo. How can you tell if you blew out a turbo?? Heres what is happening with my car. I can't rev it up more than 2,000rpm, Im blowing out black smoke from my exhaust and like i can only go up to 1500 rpm in first through 5th and my top speed is 35-40. If anyone thinks they no or any help with be greatful.

Take off your intake pipe (just before the turbo) feel inside the turbo to see if the shaft wiggles (shaft play). check you intercooler pipes to see if there is alot of oil being spit into them. but you should also check all of you intercooler pipes for boost leaks cause that might be your problem as well.
 
sounds like you have bigger issues than a blown turbo. Pull your spark plugs and do a compression test. A blown turbo will not stop your car from revving past 2k rpm.
 
Good news, it doesn't sound like a blown turbo. Bad news, it's a bigger problem. Do a compression test and check wiring. Your best bet is just to take it to a experienced mechanic. Good luck
 
Chech what wiring and how do I do an compression test?
Another thing is what could be limiting my rev? Or what else could I of messed up? Like my car will go but I have to shift to second at like 1500 at like 5mph then the same for third and firth 1500 at another 5-10 miles more. I had a boost controller hooked up to my stock turbo, thats only reason why I would think it is blown also from what canadian said a boost leak.

Buy a compression tester at any auot parts store, it will cost like 30 bucks for a cheap one.
 
i probably should have specified more, first of all its a stock turbo, my buddy has a 2g that is fully built up but last weekend he totaled the body so he let me use his dual stage boost controller. I pushed the turbo to about 15psi however it would spike at 20psi, then today i was racing an M3 and i launched the car a little high in rpm's than usual, about have way through first gear i looked an noticed i was pushing a constant 20psi and by then it was to late instantly the car stopped accelerating and slammed me forword.
 
thanx a lot bro, i checked all of my piping and one of my pipes were blowing off but i took the boost controller off and im still getting to much boost and blowing my piping
 
First of all and for future reference, black smoke usually means you are running rich (too much fuel, not enough air). A blown turbo will result in blue-white smoke (burning oil).

Next, I suspect that you didn't set the boost correctly on the dual stage boost controller, were overboosting, and blew a coupler loose. Because your MAS (just downwind of the filter) is measuring air that never makes it to the motor, and because your ECU is injecting fuel based on what the MAS detects, you would be running massively rich, puking black smoke, and eventually not being able to generate power at high revs (the MAS measures lots of air - which doesn't make it to the engine - and the ECU adds a calculated amount of fuel based on the MAS reading). At higher revs, the turbine is being fed more exhaust and driving the compressor harder. Since the compressor is still drawing air through the MAS, the ECU is seeing more and more air and is adding more and more fuel (but that air isn't making it to the engine due to the blown coupler), so you get so rich that the motor is running so poorly that it eventually can't accelerate the vehicle.

When you removed the boost controller, did you reconnect your stock BCS correctly? If you didn't it will not be correctly controlling the boost.

If you connect a vaccuum line straight from the compressor housing to the WGA, you should see around 8-9psi boost (ignoring spikes). If that works out okay, I'd check the BCS tubing. You don't want to run more than 15psi on your stock turbo.

get some t-bolt clamps they hold very well and can take a hell of a beating
