I just got my car fixed a a performance shop (LSE Performance, MN). Today I was driving back from work and i downshifted from 3rd into second probably climbed to about 2800 RPMs.
and it felt like the spark plugs werent firing right. i shifted into 3rd and it was ok. It did it again on my way back from eating as well except this time i was in second and hit the gas and it just bogged and almost died. Here is a list of my mods. Any help you guys could give would be great. Just wondering whats wrong. Thanks

Same as I told a guy a minute ago. Check for boost leaks then check your 02 voltage on your SAFCII. Make sure it stays around .93V. If it drops off at any point compensate for that first. Are you recirculating your SSQV as well?

yeah i am recirculating my BOV, although when i get home im going to take off the hose and plug up the intake. (I like the sound of the BOV) Are there any guides on here on how yo use the SAFC? Im very new to my turbo car and really dont have any idea on how to look for stuff. Also i dont want to mess up the SAFC.
*edit* I just wanna know how to switch between menus.

^^^^Agreed. Don't disconnect the vaccuum line that runs between the IM and BOV, as that is what controls the BOV. Disconnect it, and it's the same as putting a plate over the BOV flange and throwing the BOV in the garbage can. That will lead to compressor surge which will quickly kill your 50 trim. If you want the BOV venting to atmosphere (to get the sound you're talking about), you need supporting mods (GM MAF or similar). Don't go pulling vaccuum lines off until you know what you're doing.:thumb:

It will no lead to compressor surge but will lead to a rich condition during shifts. Nothing like throwing the BOV away. He was talking about taking it off the intake recirc. tube and venting.

I took his post to mean taking the vaccuum line off the BOV and blocking off the intake manifold, but after rereading his post, he probably means venting. Good catch!:thumb:

Yeah I knew that was what you meant but with his post he might get confused by what you said and take the vacuum line off to vent.

WHOA! LOL i didnt mean take off the line from the intake manifold to the BOV, I meant take off the hose from the BOV to the intake. My bad completely. Would this be something that is bad for the car or not? i dont wanna hurt the turbo or anything like that.
