stranded right this second. car wont stay cranked

Hey guys. So right this second I am sitting in the parking lot of KFC typing this on my phone.

My friend has a 95 Eclipse GST that won't stay cranked. He did about a 3min hwy run and as he pulled off on the exit car shut off and won't stay cranked. it starts. however sputters and dies in a few seconds. if you keep the throttle depressed the car will stay cranked however will not rev over 1800rpm. as soon as you let off the gas it sputters and dies.

Upon inspection of the vehicle the oil line on the passanger side of the head seems to be disconnected. you know the little valve on the side of the head? other than that everything seems to be connected.

if anyone could give us a call and help it would be greatly appreciated. we are not sure what the issue could be. thx.

Check to see if the MAF is plugged in. Also check the CAS. Are they plugged in?

Check all the vacuum lines. Just simple stuff. So you can start it but it doesn't stay running?

Look and see if your intercooler hose poped off somewhere?

all lines seem secure. yes. it starts but won't stay running.

Good point, Chanley, you probably blew off a coupler somewhere.

btw. black smoke is coming out of exhaust when we crank it.

Where is the pvc hose port on the intake of a 2g eclipse . I called and they said that hose has blown off.

It's on the intake manifold. It's a big one too, shouldn't be hard to find. Sticks straight up. Try plugging that with your finger and see if it stays running.
