This thread my sound kind of dumb, but i can't figure it out. Ok i have a 6 bolt swap in a 97 2g, and i put in a 95 eprom ecu, and ever since i did that, car doesnt really start. It use to fire right up, now it justs does nothing when i turn key. New starter and connections, and double checked all that. Fuses all look good too. I can push start the car tho, and it fires right up and works good. Possiblly the clutch safety switch is causing it to do this? Can't find any threads on disconnecting it, but this is really odd. Thakns

Try checking that the clutch its pushing the safety switch at the back, just floor the clutch pedal and check its touching it, if so, try to disconnect the safety switch. Its right on top of the clutch, make sure its the one by trying to start the car without pushing the clutch pedal in.

Good luck.
