Yes, FWD is awesome, you just may need to invest in some slicks.:sneaky: Actually its all a matter of opinion. AWD rules the streets, FWD can be fun burning out sometimes and its lighter than an AWD. You will not notice any signifcant gains from removing your emissions but here is a link for it if you want to do it.

Also, don't turn up your boost without an aftermarket boost gauge and fill out your vehicle profile when you get a chance.

You wont see any real gains from removing the emission lines, but it will clean the engine bay up a bit. I think its worth keeping FWD, I think AWD is only needed when you cant keep traction for 1st-3rd. AWD might rule the streets from a stop, but FWD owns the highway, and its not all about the AWD vs FWD, I have a straight stock 1G FWD, and took a GSX with exhaust and intake pipe, and filter, its about how well of a driver you are and your launching technique. Heres a link to a thread of us FWD guys going fast>>>http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196598
Please fill out your vehicle profile now that you have a DSM, it will help us later on if we have to trouble shoot so problems for you.

quater mile/ launching = awd
funner burn outs, better gear ratios, lighter= fwd
funnest= rwd LOL

At least thats how I see it, but I wish my was awd to be honest because its not like
I need highway speeds anyways, I just want to have fast launching and what not.

Now, I wouldnt raise the boost yet something tells me you have very little knowledge of what your doing and just for that sole reason dont change anything until you read all the threads posted above.
Also check out www.vfaq.com for further info.

Figure out what your purpose is with the car, if your just trying to keep up with your friends evos then that would be self explanitory of what you need but if your trying to have fast quater mile / 60 ' times and etc consider lsd and think of upgrading that tranny/ clutch since its fwd. Also most ppl would tell you if you dont have link/ keydiver chip dont raise boost too much until you get a logger to see whats going on in the engine. Would do good as a next mod for you. Gone and install your other fuel upgrades you said you had laying around ( as long as were not talking about injectors ) You'll need some sort of compensation before you install bigger injectors, then Id start with the exhaust, you cant get in what you cant get out right?! So modify your exhaust to really take advantage of most of your other mods. Then Good luck with your dsm !
