ebay DP's

i was wondering i did a quick search on ebay dp's on tuners to see what i could find and didnt come up with much..

so i decided to make a thread and ask...

i am about to get 3'' cat-back exhuast.. and i would like to make it a full 3'' turbo back exhuast.

i cant afford to buy some nice expensive exhuast from like RRE or SLOWBOY.. so i was checking ebay and saw them for like 100bucks shipped to my door.

would it be worth the money or should i wait til i can get a good one. or will this one work.
i want to get it done once. and done right.

i bought my dp from ebay.....tsudo 3"....i'm greatly happy about the money i spent and the quality of what i got as far as a dp goes, all the welds are nice the flex sectiong doesn't have any rips or anything like that, minimal scratches but that happened from shipping.....oh i might have to relocate my hangers on the dp but that's no major problem...so i say for the guys without the deep pockets....ebay is a good friend to me when it comes to just getting the job done!!

i checked those out.. but i want a 3'' inlet .. those are only 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 outlet.

2.5" inlet is more than enough for 99% of DSMers out there. If you do some reading on the topic, you will find that 2.5" will flow hot, fluid exhaust gasses well, and the expansion to 3" will do nicely for cooler, viscous gasses. 3" turboback is overkill and really only needed once you start pushing past that 500hp mark.

The ebay pipes are also of good quality and fitment. I purched my Megan Racing piece back when they were cheap off of ebay for 90 shipped and am happy with it.

I also purchased my entire exhaust off of ebay for my spyder. Well worth the money. I have some pics floating around on talk somewhere if you want to take a look sometime. Welds were perfect and everything lined up great. Only thing I did was modify the outlet flange on the DP from 2 1/4 (so it could mate to stock Cat) to 3" so it would hook up to my catback. I recently acquired a 92 Tsi AWD and am going to be ordering another Ebay DP in the near future as well.
