Toronto,
I have an SBR 3500 and Fidanza flywheel isntalled less than a year ago.

When the car starts up in the morning the clutch pedal pushes in really smoothly. After a bit of driving, when I push the clutch pedal in I hear a creaking noise, like a windshield wiping a dry windshield. I also feel it at the point where the clutch disengages.

Any help would be appreciated

Look under the dash where all the pedals hang from. The clutch pedal actually pushes a rod through the firewall and actuates the master cylinder. Look where that rod is and see if there's any fluid around it. Something might be leaking.

The noise you hear, can you feel it in the pedal or can you just hear it? I ask this question because I have two cars both manual and their clutch pedals both make creaking noises. I found the noise to be bushings that just need alittle lubrication or the cable itself. Check the bushings where the pedal mounts to the car ( i.e. pivot point).

Hope this helps:thumb:

I can hear and feel it.

When I start the car cold and drive around the pedal feels great, its only after maybe 30 minutes or so of driving that it starts creaking and getting a feeling in the pedal.

Would lubing the bushings you mentioned require me to take the transmission out? :|

no,just lube all the bushings and springs on the pedal assembly uunder the dash. get some spray and start spring all those springs/pivot etc till the sqeaking goes away . well try it at least.

No you don't have to take the transmission out. The feeling and the sound could be the shaft going to the master cylinder of the clutch, could be rubbing on metal. The bushings that I mention are inside the car under the dash. Good luck
