Quick AC question

I have a Turbodsmart External Gate setup now and i had to remove my AC fan. When is it not good to run ac now. i haven't used it since i removed my fan. People around here said it would be ok as long as i'm not sitting still at a stop light for to long? Just trying to get some good advise.

You should not use your ac at all. Believe it or not, the fan is triggered by your ac pressures. Should your pressure get too high, and you cannot monitor what is too high you can eventually damage your air conditioning system by over pressure. Sure there's a high pressure cut out, but why depend on that to save you. Theoretically if you just run it down the highway, you should be ok. Theoretically.

thanks for the response. that's the only time i was gonna run it because i was not sure. i was wondering if i bought a high flowing fan could i use it more then. something like this

i would worry about that fan you linked to not fitting in place of the stock ac fan. you'd have to check all the dimensions though. if you can fit something like a 10 or 12 in spal fan on there you should be fine. just fit it in the place of your stock ac fan.
running without the fan like that could start to overheat your engine also. anson tried it on his car and we monitored it with DSMLink. the temps started to climb when he turned the ac on. we didn't try to see just how high it would go though. like started above, i wouldn't risk it. the spal fans are cheap enough for what they do that if you want ac you should invest in one. good luck.

ok yeah i think i'm going to try that. Just a Slim 10 or 12 fan would probably do just fine!
