Well it all happend in a very nice day...The sky was clear, the wind was crisp, and there was no police in sight...I was cruising in my Eagle talon :rocks: listening to Ice Cube's "Today was a good Day"(that song just cool:thumb: )when all of the sudden my engiine did a short hesitation about 3k...I was likeWTF must be that i need a fuel filter...so i kept cruisin:rocks: ...and all the sudden it did another small hesitation again and i was now like WTF :( and then it hesitated again...after that i pressed down the clutch down because i had a car in front of me and my car wanted to stall. The check engine was on and the exhaust sounded like :barf: my rpms at idle went down to like 500 or 400. That is when my day ended up being a not so good of a day.

What could be the problem?
Tune up
Boost leak

:beatentodeath:

(btw this story is based on a true DSM event:p )

When this happened to me, my cel popped on and it would hesitate and idle funny, it sounded like crap. Turned out one of my injector clips had half way come off. Might check that, just press down on them all. But find out what codes the ecu is throwing.

I would also do a boost leak test, just to be safe. It never hurts to be safe. Check the injector clips like fwdt said. Hopefully it is something little, it sucks when a DSM is down.

The hesitation all started when i installed my custom 3 in exhaust...could that be the problem...not enough back pressure for the 14b?

Be sure to check you ecu, Do you get any codes? As said before do a proper boost leak test.

PS. Im glad you know how to use the smiley feature.
