first off heres a list of my mods:

now tuning with the safc i was looking at injectors size. right now im looking at pte 550s, 680s, 780s...

only going to be using it for 3months, ok. soo to get the MOST out of the 14b what would you all recommend. really would like the 680s but will 550s be more than enough to push the 14b to its limits? and whats the chance of the 780s being tunable w/ safc?

The 550's will be enough to push the 14B to it's limit...but if you can, but the 680's (They're about the maximum you be able to tune with a S-AFC). The 780's are a no-no with the S-AFC.

Depending upon your future plans, you may want to buy the 680's (So you can upgrade to a EVOIII 16G in the future for example, and take full advantage of it), or simply save up and buy a EPROM ECU and DSMLink, so you can run injectors as big as you want.

But if you plan on staying with the S-AFC, you can go with the 680's and buy a Keydiver Stage 3 chip. More info on http://www.dsmchips.com/.

It all depends on your future plans...if you want to stay with the 14B, 550's will be enough. But it's pretty probable you may want to upgrade to a bigger turbo later, so if you buy bigger injectors now, you will save in the future, so keep that in mind.
 
oh yea LOL 100% percent will be going bigger. i plan on building up 2.3l when i get back from iraq. so it'll be gt30 turbo(as of now) LOL. soo 550s maxin' out the 14b would keep me happy til i leave in jan?
 
Yes, 550's should be enough for you to have fun with the 14B. Go ahead if you will, but if you're going to build that engine in the end, why not save the extra $ for it? Just drive your car as it is now until you return from deployment?

my goal i set at the beginning of the year was to break into 13s with my automatic gsx. no way i want to push the stock injectors when i got the money now to pick up some cheap 550s or 680s.

35-40k in iraq + 25k reenlistment bonus when i return from iraq.. i'll have more than enough cash to spend LOL :) thanks though

just want to see what my best option would be thats all
 
Well, in your case I would go with the 550's. Enough to play around with the 14B. Going to 680's would involve a little more stuff (Keydiver Chip, EPROM ECU).

And since you're going to go nuts when you return...I don't think you would still be using a S-AFC to tune a 2.3L stroker.

So go buy the 550's! :p
