can i run a big 16g with 550cc injectors and a 255 fuel pump without a afc and afpr temporeraly?

Anytime you upgrade your injectors you need something to control them. I have a 20g with 625cc injectors and i had to de-tune 22%. I would just run stock injectors until you could get your hands on an SAFC. I ran 17-18lbs on my 20g with stock injectors and it pulled real well. I still dont have a AFPR but my 255 is pumping to much im sure.

But to answer your question, just run a big 16g w/ stock injectors, keep to boost to around 15-16. Put the Walbro 255 in and you should be ok.

Absolutely not. Leave it on stock fuel until you have an AFPR installed and something to control the injectors (as mentioned above). In measuring fuel pressure at the rail from using a 255, with a stock FPR, I've seen readings from 49-52 psi. Sorry, but running 6-9 psi more at the rail over base pressure isn't healthy for the oil since fuel can wash past the rings.
