Alright i just installed my bov, I think this is the problem but when i get up to like 10 psi all of a sudden my car feels like it has a really bad leak, does that have to do whether my bov is adjusted to hard or soft? Also my timing belt install the timing was off I dont have my car right now cause the guy just fixed it but could that cause it?

If the timing was off, depending on how off it was, you could've ruined the motor, muchless it feeling slower. If the BOV is open a little, the spring is adjusted too soft. Too tight, however, you'll get compressor surge.

If it is screwed all the way down, that is the hardest setting. You should not be leaking from it unless you have something of low quality. Be sure to adjust it to a proper level, since currently it will not blow off and will damage your turbo via compressor surge. Adjustment is guess and test. For my Greddy, I adjusted it to the hardest setting that will still blow off when boosting.
