ok im kinda new at this so be indepth and real simple LOL
i got a 95 tsi fwd.

im in college and am gona get some financial aid money back to put it in my car :)

im gona do everythig right i hope....

fuel:
walbro fuel pump 255 hp
injectors
afc II
adjustable regulater
widband

intake hard piping
front mount
exhaust of some sort
greddy bov

but what i dont know is, what kind of turbo set up...i was gona buy a evo upgrade kit for it w/ the 16 g but then someone told me to get a t3....i dont really understand a whole lot bout the difference......but which would be better? i would like to make 350 to the wheels and use as a daily driver...and i know the u have to get a different exhaust manifold (i think) but i dont know bout the downpiping or wastegate or any of that other stuff that would be different...and how would the power be different?..like which would have less lag or a broader power band

if guys could take some time and explain this all to me i'd appreciate it....i asked some people around here bout it but i want some more opinions...

With a T3, you'll need a different manifold and o2 housing. I'd suggest DSM Link instead of SAFC. With that set up and an Evo 3 16g, you should be able to get 350 at the wheels.

i dont really guess it matters bout having to get a new manifold and o2 b/c i was gona get a new o2 anways..i forgot to put it on that list...the evo kit comes w/ a manifold so i can get one if i need one...and what exactly is a dsm link...is it hard to use?..how much money?

The DSMLink is software used to tune in your car, it costs about 520$, you need to buy a logger as well. Since your car is a 95 it should be eprom'd, thats a must for DSMLink. With the 16G you can get a way with getting a 190, so you dont need an AFPR, and you can get away with 550cc injectors. Rewire any pump you get. The 16G will get you your goal easily, and will have great spool. All in all I would skip the SAFC all together and go straight for the Link, because with the SAFC you can only tune up to 660s with decent accuracy, the Link you can tune up to 1000cc injectors. For the BOV just get a 1G BOV, it can hold 23 psi, and is very cheap, save you a little $$$ for other stuff. make sure you get hard pipes for the FMIC. Port the intake manifold, and stock exhaust manifold, port out the o2 housing, and hot side of the 16G. With the t3 you have to get much larger injectors, manifold, o2, and a few other parts to make it a well rounded set-up.

how hard is the dsmlink to use though?

the evo kit comes w/ a better flowing manifold..

do u guys think that ever thing i listed would give me bout 350whp?
