Ok guys, im getting Agraveted now, makes me second thought giveing up my gsr honda LOL but to the point. My car as of late has bin giveing me proplems, Its a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST WITH 101300 MILES ON IT, and white smoke has bin comeing out lately, When im on the freeway then get off an exit and stop, all this white smoke would come up in front of the car and some would even go inside my car (the white smoke) well it cant be a head gasket becuase i blew a gasket about 3 months ago and rebuilt head. Im someone what of a new on DSM'S so i need some help guys. possible timeing off??? running to lean or rich??? turbo bad?

Right now i feel like doing this to my car :beatentodeath:

EDIT: VIDEO WILL BE UP SOOON ITS UPLOADING MY BAD GUYS

Do you notice any difference in performance? When my turbo blew it smoked A LOT, the whole neighborhood would fill up with smoke LOL

If you're running rich you'd see black smoke.

Any other symptoms as far as how the car feels when you drive it? Or does it drive normal?

It sounds to me like your burning out oil and that your turbocharger may have some shaft play in it, pull off the intake on the turbo and see if you can wiggle the shaft a little up/ down movement is ok , its the in/out movement that you have to look out for ,the turbo is probably your culprit.

HMZ... well one thing if i can explain it right, when i floor or it push the gas in pretty far in then let go right away the car like jerks a bit, if thats even the right word.

My t25 spulls loud and im haveing smoke comeing out of my exhuast everytime i get to a stop, when my friend revs its there is a slight blueish color but its mostly white but it looks a little like blue, and i have alot of in and out shaft play. this 14b has no shaft play what so ever and was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago
I thought you already knew this was the problem. Isn't that why you're putting on the 14B?

That's too funny! Actually, his thread was more geared toward the installation of the 14B, but since he mentioned the shaft play and the smoke from the T25, I figured he had already identified it as a problem and that's why he was swapping the turbo. I could've been wrong, though...

LOL, what are you uploading it onto? because streetfire takes like an hour to optimaize along with alot of other video host's, photobucket has no optimization so no wait after its uploaded

can i have the link to the other thread?

Just because the head was redone and a new head gasket is on the car doesnt mean shit. Who put it on, was it torqued to spec??

Do a compression test see what the numbers are.

I also agree with everyone that the turbo might be bad.

no offense but its been not bin

Exactly, the person that put it on could have no cleaned the head and deck surface or there was even substantial head warpage , all things can be taken into consideration but im still voting for the turbo.

I Had a uncle do it, he's bin working that the Mitsubishi dealership for 6 years. Yes he still charged me an arm and a leg LOL so i know the work was done right.
