I am pretty new to dsm's. I've done my research, and know quite a bit about cars in general, but not much hands on experience. I've been on the look out for a 2g GSX for some time now, and can't seem to find "the one". I have however found plenty of shells w/ busted engines.
All that to say, what kind of experience would you reccomend for me, to do a 6-bolt swap. It seems simple enough, I've read plenty about it. I fully understand all the steps involved. Just never really been under a dsm hood before. You can't beat the price! And you have a great platform to work off of. And you have the best of both worlds. b/t the 2g ECU, and the ability to mix and match the best of both worlds.
Basically, would you recomend buying a stock 2g GSX for 5-6k, or buying a junker, and swapping the 6-bolt for around 3-4k.
