No, both units meter air upstream of the BOV.

The correct way to vent, if you must, is to install a GM MAF sensor in a "blow-through" configuration. This means the airflow sensor detects air downstream of the BOV, and therefore will not cause any of the poor mixture conditions associated with a stock MAS configuration. You'll also need some sort of translation device. Please read the FAQs on this site.
