Alright here it is, I put new timing belt on and timed it, I followed the book I also put a used turbo on and it came off of a motor with stuck cams, when I turn it over by hand I don't hear n e thing hitting but when I try to start the car it banged on one cycleas far as I know, I only turned it over 5 times"strating" and I was in the car for 2 of them I don't want to do n e more damage if there is n e. could there be a peice of broken valve in that turbo? and dose the car spin the turbo on the exhaust cycle when starting, please if you have herd n e like this let me know. Thanks....

If im not mistaken...when you time the cams there is actually 2 marks on each cam. did you line up the cams to the right marks? the dowl pin thingy should be facing up with the marks aligned....the other 2 marks would then be facing the opposite way... if you lined up with those your car wouldnt be in time.....

i could be mistaken but I believe it wouldnt be right

I had a hard time reading your post but...

I think my manual said to turn the motor over by hand 6 times(at the least, I would do more just to be sure), not 5. I remember doing it on my talon and got to the fifth cycle and then it got stuck on the way to six revelutions..... I was off like maybe 1 tooth with the cam gears, it might of been only a half a tooth.

If your timing was off and you tryed to start your car, I'd say its a safe bet you did some damage to the valves.

I Figured out the problem tonight, i checked the timing tonight it was good and checked some other stuff everything was good, so i gave it a crank and it turns out the bang is coming from the starter" must not be lining up right, but thanks guys for the feedback
