Ok ... I know theres numerous threads on bov info but I couldnt really find anything on the turbo xs type H, only on the RFL....
Ive only had the stock 1g bov and never decieded to upgrade since it was a good design, but last weekend I had an offer I couldnt refuse, and I bought a new turbo xs bov type H for 30 $s....( And on the internet its priced at like 170 ) Well I dont have the mounting flange or anything like that for it, and was wondering how would I go about installation...
The other perdicament is that It cant be recir... ( Which I dont mind for now to be honest because I have a lot of friends who vent and havent had any performance differences other than running rich at idle or from one of thems case sometimes backfiring )
Yes I know the majority of dsmers wouldnt vent and I dont want to be a hypocrit because I even was like " oh never vent" therefore I wouldnt recommend anyone to vent but ima do it :shhh: ... At least temporarily and if I dont like it Ill sell it for more than i bought it ! . But since I have this bov here I want to give it a try.... This is pretty much how it looks for the most part- http://www.agpturbo.com/product.php?productid=16152&cat=254&page=1

Is there anyone with this bov, any experiences, how loud it is, any pros/cons?

This is the mounting flange/adapter needed. I have no comment on venting without maft but good luck with the turbo xs bov. I went through 2 before I gave up and bought a tial.

what do you mean you went thru two? ( they were leaking or something )
Were either of them the same one I have?

Im not even sure how it goes, its just a cylender with holes going around it , im thinking
the bottom plugs into the intake pipe and the broze thing inside it raise up when its time to relieve boost opening up
all the holes going around it.... ( Am i correct? )

To be honest most likely Im going to sell it and get more out of it than I paid for, which was my initial thought on buying it even though I would like an aftermarket bov in my cars arsenal but I dont know... Theres no ghetto way to rigging it up without paying too much money and having no leaks? LOL

I had an h34 and an rfl. They have the same design piston and spring so ultimately, they are the same internally. Both of mine leaked andwouldnt hold boost well. Both were bleeding off boost so bad that when I installed my tial, my boost went up 4 psi(24-28) with no other changes. Seems as if the brass piston isnt machined concentric to the seat in the body which causes a boost leak. Some have had luck with turbo xs parts but I have had none(bov's and mbc) so I just choose not to buy their products anymore.

well thanks , thats good info for the future..... I am still running stock boost w/ bsc mod and that bov probably wont see more boost than that... I wont have it for that long im sure, so I take it that it starts to leak off once you get in the upwards of 20lbs of boost but under that I should be ok.?

( And I like that rollcage in your pics, how much did that cost you ? Ive been thinking of doing one in my car, i got someone whod do it for like 100 if I helped him do it... Not sure though, I dont really ride with no one in the back and I dont have a backseat anyways ( just carpeting down there ) just two 12in subs in the back, Idunno if that will interfere with a rollcage... How long does that generally take to instal, and do you have to remove like half your interior to do it? ) Well thanks anyways

It actually started to leak around 14psi and progressively got worse as boost went higher

It is a copetition engineering cage and I got it for $130 from a local speed shop( cost from my old employer) I did all the notching and welding so installation cost me $0.
