I got a nasty misfire at 2-4k at anything over 13lbs..

I want to look over my ignition system first..

ways of doing this? how do I check if coilpacks are messed up?

replacing plugs.. but any tell tale signs of a ignition system not being up to par?

The most common thing I see that causes misfire under load would be the wires themselves. look at the part that goes into the head for discolored spots. This would indicate a misfire through the insulation. As far as the coils, I can't remember the last time I had to replace one. You would have to scope them and check for peak KV output. Which is something you probably will have to consign to a shop.

Good Luck
