What usualy causes this? My guess... its got over 109Kmiles on it, doesn't like run'n 3rd up over 6Krpms in 115degree heat, and its just plain TOO SMALL!

but seriously, any other ideas... ;)

It's old, worn out and tired. Besides, that thing's so small it's really not making any power over 6000 RPM anyway. As mentioned, check it for shaft play. It likely has some in and out.

Yeah, my T-25 started to "hyperventilate" in 3rd gear at around 5.5-6k... Those turbos arent really made for anything more. The only good side to this is when you upgrade it feels that much better:thumb:

Thing is the only shaft play I can feel is a tad side to side. No in and out at all... Oh well the new one (big T28) is ordered and should be on its way. :thumb:
I just hope this one holds out until I can get the new one on.
