I am having a hard time finding the right OEM replacement axles for my 1g '94 TSI FWD. I have gone that many parts stores in my area and have had no luck. All they have listing for are the AWD or non-turbo set ups. I need the 27 spline into the tranny not the 25 spline. Has anyone had this problem or know where I can order new axles? Thanks

i had a really hard time finding axles for my 95 gsx. i ended up getting the correct one at napa, also you should check out http://www.advanceautoparts.com because on their site they have all kinds of options to choose from. i was going to order from there but napa finally got me the axle i needed so i didn't ahve to. good luck i know it's not fun.

I actually tried getting the axles from Napa the first time and they turned out to be for the wrong car. They gave me the 25 spline setup. I need the 27 spline, i guess i can try Advance Auto parts. My friend was telling me that they dont make them for my car anymore(which i really cant believe). They have them for the 1g AWD and non turbos only. i need the ones for a 1g '94 or '93 FWD TSI, any other suggestions?
Thanks

Thank-you, yea it looks like i'll have Raxles rebuild them for me. They are a little pricey but i dont really know who else to call. The guy was saying it was really rare how the spline is a 27 and a not 25, guess its another one of DSM's transition phases.

Mine were purchased through autozone. If I wre you , I would go on google and find all the local stores for auto parts. Then call em and see who has what you need, instead of doing it one by one
