1G-specific Getting her on track

So I spend 5 hours on my Talon the other day. Found a few problems and fixed them.

15 degrees advanced timing-Fixed back to 5 degrees.
Bent wastegate arm-Fixed
Boost leak-Fixed
Dead battery-Replaced
Alternator going out-Replaced next week
Auto Meter boost gauge 5 psi off-Fixed next week
Idle at 1k rpm's-Fixed to 850 rpm's

The car is running great now. I used to get full boost about 4500 rpm's and am now hitting full boost at 3100 rpm's. The car runs so smooth now and has some good power at 10 psi. Can't wait to get my MBC and crank it up to 15 psi.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the great threads that provided me the help and knowledge to get my Talon running almost like new. I was a Honda guy and have been converted to the DSM family.

Again Thank you all

Looked at your profile and if I was you I would buy a logger before turning up the boost. I had knock at 13psi. The advanced timing you where running probably caused a little premature wear. Also you have a 255 pump but no aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. The stock one cant handle the pump and most likely being over run. Buy a logger so you can see whats happening. You probably are getting a little rich knock.

Also good job jumping on the DSM bandwagon.
