please help [transmission fluid level]

ok so the other day i decided to take off the whole transmission cooling system core and all the piping, i relocated it just in a diffrent route so it was not so in the way, i hooked everything back up the same way and i get into my car and im having one hell of a problem now.. first off when you turn the idle screw all the way down it should kill the motor right? if so mine dosent it still stays around 800 rpms, now the big thing, when i put the car into a gear expesially reverse the rpms drop way low and sometimes stall the motor, the other night when i was driving it when i would take off in first with my foot on the gas it would not go anywhere then after 2-3 seconds engage into gear and go, but the same for the rest, it has a real delay in changing gears, but what if any of this wouold effect the idle of it and stalling out? i really need help i dont have any clue whats wrong..

This link will help you. Basically, warm up your car to normal operating temp, park it on level ground, take it slowly through all gears including reverse, then place it in neutral(with parking brake on) wipe down dipstick and check it for proper level. It is VERY important to use the correct tranny fluid on these cars.

I've never heard of anyone using that fluid (not saying it's wrong) Check the lable to see if it's approved for Mitsubishi tranny's (I assumed from your posts that it is an Auto)
If the fluid you are using is not approved for Mitsu tranny's, it will very likely give you the problems you are describing.
