I found out why my car was so running so bad....

I finally got a chance to do it. I performed a boost leak test like many members have been telling me to do. I made a tester from scrap parts and hooked it up and got these results using soapy water:
- 3 enormous leaks from my j-pipe alone
- 1 leak from the top of my greddy bov
- 1 leak from the side screw of my bov
- 1 leak from my throttle body shaft seals

I still managed to pull off 264 awhp.....I can't wait to fix these leaks and see my new numbers. I've got a 1g throttle body coming in and i'm port matching my intake manifold so i should be very close to 300, if not over

What did you use to put air into the boost leak tester? You have an air compressor?

I was using a bike pump.....free and easily accessible, plus it worked. As for the other post-er, I run 19 psi on pump gas and 23 psi on race gas. But i don't think I'm boosting anywhere passed my low boost setting until I get these leaks fixed
