I just got my evo3 exhaust manifold in yesterday and I was wondering if it would make any different to go with the OEM stainless steel or the soft Amor Clad or cometic.

For the turbo/ mani gasket, I will stick to the 7cm that came with it. However, I do hear leak from manifold/engine gasket when I do a boost leak test. There is always a nasty exhaust leak smell when I drive my car around.

Any open suggestion is well appreciated.

Thx

I used the 4-layer gasket from RoadRaceEngineering. It is great because it is reusable. However, it really doesn't matter which gasket you initially use because they are all meant to do the same thing. So any OEM or armor clad gasket will do you.
