I was just wondering what you all thought on this one, ive done the research but any advice will help, i have a 2.3l stroker with all supporting mods, i want the most efficient way to make around 550 and im stuck between the FP 3065 and SBR gt35R...please comment:thumb:

Well then I'd suggest a GT35R with like a .63 ar. Try to get a small .ar because smaller ones spool quicker but don't produce as much top end when compared to a large .ar. With the GT35R, you're going to need a different exhaust manifold for the t3 housing. If you don't want to buy one, your other option, the FP 3065, is going to require a V-band-to-2-bolt o2 housing, which FP sells on their site for like $250. You will also need a V-band TiAL 44mm wastegate, which is like $365.

So, it's really up to you on what you want to spend and how. Let me know some more stuff about your goals.

The only difference between 3065 and the GT35R is the 3065 uses the GT30 turbo frame and turbine wheel with FPs custom hotside instead of a 35 frame and wheel with a standard T3 hotside (with your choice or A/R).

You are either going to have to purchase a T3 flanged manifold for the GT35R (unless you get one with a mitsu housing) or you are going to need FPs custom O2 housing for their setup. Both run similar prices and have similar power potentials.

I agree with the .82 A/R GT35R, anything smaller than that and the turbine housing is going to be holding you back.

For a street driven 2.0 i agree with a t3 gt35r .63 a/r.........no gt35r will hold you back belive me....unless your plans are for drag then 82 a/r may be a better choice......
