Can I use tokico blues with stock springs?

This is probably an obvious question, but I really have no clue about suspensions. I'm in a bind where I'm trying to find someone local to Toronto that sells GCs for a 2G GSX. But if things turn bad I might just pick up some stock springs temporarily.

Yes, but by any chance do you mean springs where you placed "shocks". But dont go with the blues, the stock struts are MUCH better, if anything go with KYB AGXs or KONI yellow, or atleast the tokico illuminas.

Sorry, i meant using Tokico Blues with stock springs.
Are you saying the stock shocks are better than the tokicos? I've read that you shouldn't use the stock shocks if your lowered, so how would the stockers be better? Either way, the car already has the tokico shocks.

We run HPs on our GST and they seem a lot better than stock. Please send me any information you have found that would contradict what my body has been telling me!

I'm just saying that the tokico shocks must be of better quality than stock if it can handle lowering springs while the stock ones cant

The stock shocks are much better then the Blues? I've never heard this? I know of several people who run them and think their great & yes you can run them with the stock springs.

For the origional poster, you are trying to get GC coilovers but if you can't then you are going to get stock springs? What am I missing here, is your car already lowered (and if so why do you want to swap for stock springs) or are you currently running stock springs and want to install the blues? Im' lost

EH? WTF Why do people dont recommend KYB's on 2nd Gens? I have them, I love them, my car is lowered as well, and yeah I know, KYB made our stock shocks, but so what, that is why they are called GR-2's, they are obviously not stock, and the price sure isn't. I love the ride setup I have now, and I dont bottom out or scrape either at speed bumps or potholes, and it is comfortable as my temperpedic mattress, so why dont they recommend them again?

I bought the car lowered, and for my purposes it's too low. Especially since I'm moving out for co-op somewhere out in the sticks. I'm getting a set of stock springs for free So in case i can't find GC's
