so I got this 1990 Plymouth Laser for a case of beer. everything thats anything is already gone and what's left is almost all broken. so you ask, whats so great about it? I don't know. what I do know is that I just checked the belts and found a crank pully bolt broken off and it just pushed me over my BS limit for the day. thanks for your time.

Thus far the motor is the only thing its got going for it..... $800 bucks would buy me everything else I need....

Nice.
It doesn't hate you. It hates the other owner for what he did....

BTW at least you have a 6 bolt block and a chasis... :D
be happy at least you have a DSM! Welcome!

I certainly am happy to be fortunate enough to have a 6 bolt and a chassis. Even if the last owner took a die cutter to the motor mounts and downpipe in an attempt to remove it. No Lie. So I need the drivers side motor mount welded about an inch, not even to the bolt hole. All 4 motor mounts are worn beyond belief, I intend to give them the liquid nails treatment to see if I can atleast save them. I am going to have to remove the timing belt cover in its entirety, its warped somehow and rubs the belts so bad you can see wear lines halfway through them. More work than I can afford at the moment!!!

well, at least u got it for a case of beer. For what its worth sometimes I say the same thing about mine. Just replaced the Clutch, Clutch slave, front axles, Now i have a misfire caused by leaking wires and valve cover gasket leaking oil into the #4 plug well and now I hear a noise from the driveshaft carrier bearing. I guess that's all part of the DSM experience. I'm loving it though don't have to pay any labor. Well good luck putting it together and welcome
