what usually is the first thing you guys had to replace when you bought your eclipses? I have a 99 right now with 63k miles. It already has a rebuilt racing tranny, and clutch. But what did you guys have to replace first, or what do you recommend?

At 63K the first thing I would worry about is the timing belt parts.
timing belt, balance belt, tensioner, 2 tensioner pulleys (tb, bb), idler pulley, 2 cam seals, crank seal, oil pump seal, balance shaft seal, water pump.

Timing belt should be done every 60K. If the belt or tensioner goes...so does the head. Then I would look into the other maintenence as well before you start any mods.

yes i have NGK wires and plugs. Also, i have flushed everything
