can i move more air?

right now i have a mhi b16g in my car, a friend of mine gave me a completly blown mhi 20g,but the turbine housing and compressor housing is still good. can i swap out both housings from my 16g to a 20g housing to make my turbo more efficent?also my 16g has some cracks by the flapper and the exhaust port.thanks for the input.

Simple answer no. As far as the comp cover goes, the 20g cover is machined out larger to fit the larger 20g wheel. As for the turbine housing, if its a TD05 turbine then its the same housing you already have on your 16g and if it a TD06 or 06H wheel, then same as the comp cover its machined for the larger wheel and wont work with your smaller one.
