I have a 96 eagle talon tsi awd. When i step on the gas at high rpm and the turbo spools up the car bogs down really bad. To fix the problem i have replaced the fuel filter removed the cat and put in a test tube, with no luck. I'm starting to think fuel pump and or plugs and wires? But i don't know. Next question on the fuel pumps i want to put a new turbo in eventually so if it is the fuel pump then is there a good fuel pump that will work well with the stock turbo but also work with a bigger one? Thanks so much for any help.

There is a good chance you have a boost leak. Check that first. As for the pump, get a Walbo 190. It will flow enough fuel for most turbos.:thumb:

Ok well i feel stupid but i can't seem to find a complete answer, so how do you check for boost leaks

The cause for many people who are bogging is that they are venting their BOV. My question is to you, ARE YOU?? If not, then you are a smart person ;) . If so, then reconnect the recirculation hose or buy a MAF-T. If not, then the cause may be a faulty sensor, or, what happened to me, a spark plug/wire going bad.
