Greddy Type S boost controller at high boost?

Has anyone used the Greddy type S boost controller yet? I originally had a Greddy Profec B, but when I finally got my engine fully built the highest boost I could reach was 24 lbs. I switched to the turbo xs dual so I could switch beetween 2 boost levels, and reach 30 lbs of boost on race gas. I liked the electronic boost controller a little better though, just so you can change boost to whatever you want instead of just 2 set points without going under the hood. Greddy claims it's good up to 42 lbs. I know elctronic boost controllers are not good for high boost, but is this one any better? Is this a stupid idea trying to go back to electronic boost controller at this high of boost?

PRofec Type-S
As easy to use as a manual boost controller, but with advanced electronic boost controller response & consistency, the PRofec Type-S keeps things simple. Based on the ever-popular Original PRofec B-Spec, the Type-S has two rotary switches to select two independent boost setting (a Lo. and a Hi.), while another "Gain" switch compensates the wastegate’s valve response. Now, matched with a quick acting, large capacity inline control solenoid, the Type-S can increase boost as high as 3.0kg/cm2 (42.66psi) and it works with both integral and external wastegate set-ups, while still being compatible with our Remote Switching System or SCC & adapter.

Sounds good. Don't you have other performance mods to do before spending $400+ on an dual stage electronic boost controller? I would understand if you were FWD and you need low boost at launch and high boost later, but if your sole purpose for having hi-low settings is to drive on the street and race on the track, why not just keep the boost controller you have now? I'm sorry, but it doesn't make sense (to me) to spend $400 for the Type S. If your current setup is running fine, why change it?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I just havent filled out my info cause Im weird about not wanting people to know my setup. Im gonna update my profile, and list some stuff though to help people understand that my car is fully built. My car has everything as far as Im concerned. Fully built bottom end. Ported head and a bad*** valvetrain setup. "Special" turbo. All supporting mods necessary and alot more I havent listed. Shep tranny with Kaaz front and center lsd. I gotta get a roll cage installed an other safety stuff now, so I can take it to the track and post timeslip. And the turbo xs is not really a dual stage boost controller. It just has 2 settings you can switch between. Oh yeah and I found someone selling them new for $280. I was just wondering if anyone has run high boost with the type s yet, and if it really works like they say it does. I'm probably just gonna buy it and try it out, but wanted to see if anyone had info first.
