Recently I have been trying to work out some of the bugs since I had the motor swap done. I am not sure exactly what car the engine came out of. I have been getting a code for p0170 for the fuel trim concern.
Now I have an air/fuel ratio gauge in the car and the reading on it have been inconsistent since the swap or it will only read all 1.125v so I assume that I may have gotten a bad upstream 02 sensor with the engine. My concern is that the plug for the sensor does not match what a US spec engine has and I hate to cut and splice a universal sensor in there if I can avoid it.
Does anyone know if there is an oxygen sensor that will plug into the JDM harness. I tried a Talon and a Galant VR4 and neither one worked. The plug was too long on the Talon and too small on the Galant.
Any help would be appreciated.
