hey guys I just got a 20g and I am getting injectors other than that I got the mods but i am struggling to get in 11s maybe some tuning issues I don't really know yet but I am thinking about getting the bottle what do you guys think or maybe I am doing something wrong with the setup i got right now should I get the bottle or keep trying without :thumb:
 
If you want to get nitrous, I highly recommend you install forged internals, I really dont think you'll need nitrous to get into 11's. HKS Cams 264/272 set should be good if you dont have them. Do you have a SAFC or DSMLink to tune your fuel system? bigger injectors are definitely something your gonna need for that 20g. Also have you thought about Slowboy racing Stage III head? Have you upgraded your intake manifold yet? When you installed your walbro did you rewire it with thicker wire?
 
Your profile says you have a GST. Are you running some kind of slicks?? if not. . .of course its gonna be hard to get into the 11's. Your ###### spinning and not getting enough traction. AWD cars are always gonna have the advantage over us FWD on the strip. Look into some good tires and tuning.

His profile also has a timeslip that says he cut a 1.5 60' on a Big16g with slicks (which is one hell of a 60-foot for a FWD; I'd like to see a scan of that timeslip). I assume that's from your old turbo then? Can you post a breakdown of times from your most recent run to the track?

You don't need nitrous, nor do you need any other parts suggested in this thread (although bigger injectors won't hurt; they'll definitely give you more headroom to work with): you need time and experience tuning the car. I don't see anything relating to fuel management in your mods list; what are you using currently? Most importantly, what are you using to log the car's performance with? With a 20g and 550s, keeping an eye on injector duty cycles and knock could easily make the difference between an 11 and 12 second run.

I went by his wishlist, he will need bigger injectors, Cams, possibly an intake manifold. Those items will help get more power and increase fuel flow, but I do agree with Wendy that driver skills are very important.
 
thanks guys you all said about the same and it has taken me awhile to get to know my car when I ran that 1.5 60ft I missed 3rd gear and ran a 13.2 I will take a pic and put it on here with my camera so you guys can see driving does make alot of difference thank you guys for your advice oh I do have slicks and I am logging with the dsm link

Good, now we can really get somewhere. :) Do you have a recent log from the track that you can post? (Either here, or on the DSMLink forums? If you post over there, you'll probably get much a better analysis, for the record...)
