Best chemical/cleaner to use for cleaning intake manifold and exhuast manifold?

hydrocloric acid might work, just dont let it touch your skin it burns

Are you cleaning the inside or outside? If you're cleaning the exterior, some Simple Green will do the trick. If you're cleaning the inside of it, I suppose a good pressure wash and hot tank would work, but I suspect there's more to it than that.
