Well I am not really looking for a car. I just got my talon about 3 months ago and I love it. The other day I was comming home from work and I saw a 1G Talon for sale so I stopped just to check it out. Its a 91 TSI AWD with 34,000 miles on it! Thats right just 34k. The car is by far in the best shape I have ever seen for a 1G. There is not a dent, scratch, chip.....there is no body damage whatsoever. So I talked to the guy selling it and he is asking 6700 for it. I know thats over bluebook for the car but I must say that it is in most excellent shape. The guy has owned it his whole life. He still has the sticker price and all the original paperwork for it. He bought it for 19,000 brand new. Anyway, I drove it and I was totaly shocked by how fast and sweet the thing ran. Course, I do drive an ESI :D hehe so I guess thats what I get. I called him up today and offerd him 6k for it and he took it so what does everyone think? Should I go for it?

Thanks

Sounds sweet to me, get us some pics. As for the price. Cars and anything in general is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. If it makes you happy then its worth whatever you pay for it.

Good luck
I love my 1g turbo:)

dude, do it. that sounds awesome. you don't have to worry about what some dumbass has been doing to the car to abuse it for the past 150k miles.

yep, score of the year as far as I can tell :) Lucky bugger! 91's are cool for sure. Now just sell your ESi, and then you have a few tho for perf parts on the Tsi!! Lucky bugger!!

have fun :)
